Q: When the participating players will be determined?: A: The participating players will be determined late August according to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Rules. Currently, 9 players, Date-Krumm and Maria Sharapova will play, as informed in this website. The player(s) may have to withdraw due to injury or other unavoidable reasons.
Ticket is not refundable under any circumstances other than the tournament cancellation.

Q: When the DRAW and ORDER OF PLAY (match schedule of the day) are determined?: A: Main Draw will be determined at the drawing of the Main Draw on Sep. 24 (Fri) afternoon.
Order of Play (match schedule of the day) will be determined by the night before each day.
example;
Match schedule of Sep. 26 (Sun) will be determined at the night of Sep. 25 (Sat).

The top 8 seeded player will play from the 2nd round of the Main Draw (Monday and after).
Draw and Order of Play will be available in this website.

Yurikamome Line: 8min from "Ariake Tennis-no Mori" or "Ariake" station.
Rinkai Line: 5min from "Kokusai Tenji-jo" station.

By Bus (Metropolitan Bus)
From Monzen-Nakacho (Subway Tozai): Line 01. 20-25min. Get off at "Ariake Tennis-no Mori".
From Toyosu (Subway Yuraku-cho): Line 16. 10-15min. Get off at "Ariake Tennis-no Mori".
From Yaesu-guchi (Tokyo station): Line 16. 30-35min. Get off at "Ariake Tennis-no Mori".
Q: Parking available?: A: No parking for spectators available at the venue. Please use train, subway or buses.

Q: Can I purchase ticket at the door on site during tournament?: A: Yes, but ticket types are TBD. 500yen more at the door for Main Draw. Price of the Qualifying ticket price is the same as advance ticket.
Q: How should I do if I lost the ticket?: A: We are afraid that the ticket will NOT be; re-issued, changed or refundable for any reason. Please keep your ticket in a safe place.
Q: Ticket is required for a child?: A: A child 4 years or older needs to purchase ticket. If a specific seat is necessary for a child 3 years or younger, the ticket becomes necessary.

Q: Is there certain space/seat for wheel chair?: A: Please call Toray PPO Executive Office at 03-5229-0288 for wheel chair space/seat.
There is designated wheel chair space, seat "SS" category on the 1st floor.
Price will be half of the seat SS, and standard SS price for the accompanying person, if any.
Any seats are purchasable if he/she can move to a seat.
Since the wheel chair space is limited, please contact us for availability.

Q: What the schedule will be in case of rain?: A: Matches of the Center Court will be held with the retractable roof closed in case of rain, but the match schedule of the other outdoor courts will be subject to change.
Matches would be held at the other venue(s) based on the remaining schedule (but will be closed match).

Q: Is it possible to watch the matches of the outdoor courts?: A: The holder of the paid ticket for the designated/un-designated seat of the Colosseum can watch. All the seats of the outdoor courts are un-designated seats (will be No.1 - 4 courts).
We may limit the number of the spectators at the outdoor courts during peak time.
Ground ticket is not available.
Q: Can I watch the player practice of the outdoor court?: A: You may watch the players' practice at some courts, though via fence.

Q: Is re-entry to the Ariake Colosseum possible?: A: Yes. It is necessary to follow the staff's instruction on site on the day.
Q: Can I move the seat during a match?: A: Spectators should remain seated during rally at any games. Please follow the staff's instruction during the match. You can move during; player' entering to/leaving from the court, at court change, or during practice.

Q: Where is the player's entrance to the court?: A: Will be northwest.
Q: Which side will be the Chair Umpire chair and Player chair?: A: Both chairs will be at the west side.

Q: Can I ask an autograph to player?: A: It is possible if player responds at entry/leaving. We may have some limit due to security reasons.
Q: Can I give a gift to player?: A: All the gifts are once kept in our tournament executive office, then given to players.
Due to security reasons, you may not give a gift to player directly.

Q: When the match schedule will be available?: A: Please see the Ticket Sales page for detail information.
The schedule may change due to weather, match progress, and/or other reasons.
Specific information for the match end time is not available, as it is strongly affected by weather or other reasons.
Q: Is there some intermission?: A: There is no scheduled intermission.

Q: Is there player autograph session? How to apply?: A: TBD. Information will be announced soon after it is determined.
Q: What kind of event will be held?: A: TBD. Information will be announced soon after it is determined.

Q: Is photo shoot possible during a match?: A: Photo shooting is possible including practice, but must be NO FLASH, NO MOTORDRIVE.
No video recording or moving picture by digital camera/video camera/cell-phone is permitted.
Please set your cell-phone to silent mode or turn off in the stadium. Please refrain from talking on the phone and/or other audio equipment during match not to suffer other spectators.
Q: Can I cheer for players with banner or message board?: A: Yes. Please behave not to interfere with the match or disturb other spectators, and follow the instruction of the staff.

Q: Can I bring food and/or drink to the site?: A: Food and drink (bottle, can) are permitted to bring in (eating/drinking area on site is TBD). Alcohol is also permitted, but please be thoughtful of the other spectators nearby.
Q: Can I buy food and/or drink on site?: A: The Colosseum stores will be open (East and west lobby. Will be a store also in the 2nd floor/TBD.)
Q: Can I smoke on site?: A: Yes. Please smoke in the designated area.
Q: Can I use a parasol?: A: Please refrain from using parasol as it may annoying to other spectators nearby.
There may be strong sunshine when the weather is fine. We recommend you to bring hat, cap, and/or sunglasses as necessary, and have adequate hydration.

Q: Will the matches be broadcasted on TV?: A: TBS will broadcast some matches. Detail information will be available in our website soon after determined.

Q: Where I can buy the tournament official goods?: A: Will be sold on site during our tournament (Sep. 24 (Fri) to Oct. 2 (Sat), 2010).
Some items also will be available on line in this website.
